Sylphy is a petty thief who lives with his sickly sister Therese in the slums. She struggles to find a way every day to earn enough money to pay her medical bills. She overhears a rumor about something called the Gem of Misfortune, a treasure people at work are talking about. The people claim that it’s protected by a powerful island nation spirit of worshipers called Diezel. The nation will soon celebrate the weeklong Spirit Festival, and it’s the perfect time for Syplphy to try to steal the gem because everyone’s guard will be down.
